I Need Silence

Graduation Show 2025, collective exhibition – Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam, Netherlands 2nd – 6th of July 2025

This spatial installation explores the emotional landscape of isolation, self-care, and overwhelm. Designed as a 7×7 meter sanctuary, the work centers around a fragmented sculptural figure, encircled by arches, pillars, and four self-portraits acting as symbolic windows.
Drawing from sacred dome architecture, anechoic chambers, and organic visual languages, the project offers a space not of sound, but of emotional release.
Both intimate and immersive, the installation invites reflection on how architecture can hold, absorb, and express the unspoken.

Safe_Me_Gami

Cold Water is Good for you, collective exhibition – NDSM, Amsterdam, Netherlands December 2022

This project is a lightweight backpack that transforms into an emergency shelter for children during floods. Inspired by origami and space-saving technology used in satellite launches, the design allows for quick deployment and easy carrying.

Made from waterproof, insulating materials like survival blankets, the shelter provides immediate protection from harsh conditions. It offers a practical, child-friendly solution for climate-related emergencies, combining portability, safety, and simplicity.

Deep Water

Drawing Water, collective exhibition – Tolhiustuin, Amsterdam, Netherlands November 2022

This installation is a 7-meter-high ink drawing that immerses viewers in the emotional and physical stages of drowning. Suspended to surround the audience from above, in front, and below, the piece invites an embodied, almost suffocating experience of being engulfed by water.

Inspired by the artist’s personal encounter with drowning, the work visualizes a progression—from calm descent to panic and loss of control—through expressive linework and scale. The immersive format transforms the drawing into a spatial experience, turning vulnerability and fear into a shared environment.
